Feris Majed (b. 1995) is an artist based in Vancouver, BC.

His work explores identity through constructed characters, using self-portraiture to navigate the space between performance, visibility, and selfhood. The figures he creates evolve from and reflect his own journey — often shaped through close observation of himself, others, and the broader culture around him.

Majed’s process is both aesthetic and introspective, involving costuming, makeup, digital editing, and layered visual codes. These images are not simple transformations, but meditations on the self as something curated, fractured, and reassembled.

Across his evolving practice, the body becomes both subject and surface — at times adorned, erased, or idealized — offering a quiet tension between beauty and disappearance.
